PLQ Pellets Ltd are located in the North West of England just on the outskirts of Preston in Lancashire.

We are a small family business and our emphasis is on quality and care; we pride ourselves on looking after our customers and helping them to reduce their carbon footprint as well as making savings on overall fuel costs. 

We supply premium quality 6mm wood pellets that are carefully manufactured from 100% softwood virgin timber to make high quality Grade 1 premium pellets. 

There are no chemical additives added and the wood is free from any contaminants.

All our pellets conform to the CEN/TS 14961 standard, which is the top European quality standard.

We deliver throughout the UK in 10 & 15kg bags (96 / 65 on a pallet) or in bulk. Individual bags can be collected by arrangement. Delivery of smaller quantities is available within a 20 mile radius of Preston.

In Lancashire and particularly being on the edge of the Ribble Valley we are fortunate enough to be blessed with some fine woodlands and with the spiralling price of fossil fuels and a big reduction in its availability there is an ever greater need for renewable and low carbon energy.

Wood pellets can also be used for horse bedding (which is becoming more and more popular in the UK), and cat litter.
